When it comes to detail our Sugar Skull Collection is definitely worth mentioning.
Inspired by Día de los Muertos (also known as The Day of the Dead) a holiday thought to span back as far as the Aztecs, widely observed in Mexico.
Similar in nature to New Zealand’s Matariki (a celestial celebration of the Pleiades star cluster). Dia de los Muertos is a celebration which involves family and friends gathering to pay respects, remembering their loved ones who have passed. A very thoughtful and colourful celebration that has become recognised by many other nations around the world. Not solely focused on relationships from the past, it is also common for friends to share gifts such as candy sugar skulls and written epitaphs in appreciation of loved ones still living.
This is a very intricate print featuring fine line drawing of Sugar Skulls, paisley, star centred flowers and the silhouettes of bicycle drivetrains. A combination that seemed to make sense. If you have spent any time visiting the western United States riding the trails… it just might make sense to you as well.
Available in 3 colours, this collection of colours have had its final restock. Some colours and sizes are limited.
